Great place to stay

The house was perfect for us (two adults, two children, one dog), large enclosed garden for children and dog, and less than 100m to the vibrant village centre

Downlands was a great place to stay in a perfect setting

So close to the centre of Burnham Market which is a charming village with lovely shops and restaurants. A comfortable home from home with plenty of space and a beautiful garden. Sharron was a friendly and helpful host and provided detailed information and many helpful hints about the area. We would definitely stay here again.

The location has been perfect and we’ve been able to both stay local and travel around the region with ease from this base.

Absolutely perfect!

This property was just as described and more. Spacious house, great garden (for those bringing a dog), just down a quiet road only 50m from many shops, pubs and other useful amenities. Very relaxing stay and just a short drive from the coast to explore many beautiful beaches.

Truly excellent location, and a really lovely home

Set in a quiet side street, but with all the varied convenience of pubs, shops and eating out just at the end of the short lane. The house has a welcoming feel and the owner, Sharron, was approachable, understanding and warmly accommodating of our special needs. We’ll definitely return!

Just returned from a lovely break in a beautiful location

This was our first visit to Burnham Market and the information provided from the host was really useful.
The accommodation was clean and comfortable with the log burning fire being a nice addition on chilly evenings. The garden was perfect for the dog, being safe and closed in with plenty of space to explore.
Overall, a lovely property in a great location. Very enjoyable ☺️
